Tier lists run the internet. We rank everything from fast food chains to Marvel movies. So naturally, it was only a matter of time before someone ranked every type of novelty id card. That someone is us. And we take this extremely seriously. Grab your popcorn, because some of these rankings are going to be controversial.
S-Tier: The Untouchable Elite
State ID – The undisputed king. Most versatile, most recognizable, most premium feeling. Every fake id maker worth their salt has a killer state ID template. It's the default choice for a reason. S-tier, no debate. National ID – Sleeper hit of the novelty id world. The international flair, the sophisticated design, the passport-style authority. If state IDs are the iPhone, national IDs are the luxury Android – different energy but equally premium.
A-Tier: Consistent Bangers
Press ID – Massively underrated. Maximum creative freedom, perfect for content creators, and they look genuinely impressive. The versatility pushes it to A-tier easily. Student ID – The people's champion. Everyone gets the reference, the customization is fun, and they look surprisingly legit. A-tier because of pure accessibility and universal appeal.
B-Tier to D-Tier: The Rest
Photo ID (B-Tier) – Clean and simple but lacks the wow factor of state and national IDs. Solid choice but not spectacular. Reliable role player energy. International Driver's Permit (B-Tier) – Niche but hits hard when you need it. The multilingual text gives it an exotic feel that works great for travelers and cosplayers. Boater License (C-Tier) – Points for uniqueness. Loses points for being too niche. If you're into the nautical life, it's a vibe. Otherwise, it's sitting in C-tier. Fishing License (D-Tier) – Look, we love fishing. But novelty id flex? It's giving "my dad's glove compartment." D-tier, sorry not sorry. Unless you're ironically memeing it, in which case it loops back around to iconic. Use a quality fake id generator to customize any of these – even a D-tier card looks premium when it's printed on real PVC with holograms.
